The 'Fitzcarraldo' entering Saltersford Lock.
The Fitzcarraldo is a theatre ship run by 'Walk the Plank' based in Liverpool touring the coast and isles during the summer months. Here it is heading upstream to the Anderton Lift to give a performance over the week-end.
It is being escorted by a BWB tug. Problems with mud intake into the water cooling system due to the deep draught of the boat meant they had to stop for a 'rest' soon after the lock.
